Establish the process for executing subcontract agreements to ensure proper scope definition, risk management, and contract compliance.


When to Execute Subcontractโ€‹

Before Work Beginsโ€‹

  • ALWAYS have executed subcontract before work starts
  • No verbal agreements for scope of work
  • No "handshake deals"

  • Award: Verbally communicate selection
  • Draft: Send within 3-5 days
  • Execute: Before mobilization
  • Minimum: 7 days before work starts
