Purpose
Ensure consistent, complete onboarding for all new employees to set them up for success.
Onboarding Timeline

Pre-Start Checklist (Before Day 1)
HR Tasks:
- Offer letter signed and returned
- Background check completed
- Drug test completed (if required)
- Start date confirmed
- Work location identified
- Supervisor notified
- Email/system access requested
- Equipment ordered (computer, phone)
- Workspace prepared
- New hire paperwork prepared
- Benefits enrollment info ready
- First day schedule communicated
Supervisor Tasks:
- Review job description
- Prepare training plan
- Assign buddy/mentor
- Notify team of new hire
