Who Built This
Daniel Wozniak, CPA — I'm a licensed CPA who specializes in construction accounting and technology. I serve on the CFMA Silicon Valley board of directors, where I oversee technology and operations and host monthly educational events for contractors and construction finance professionals.
I built this site because I kept seeing the same problem: contractors need practical help with processes, compliance, and software decisions, but most "resources" online are gated behind email forms or written by people who've never set foot on a jobsite.
This site is the opposite of that. Everything is free, specific to construction, and written by someone who actually understands the compliance requirements, the financial structures, and the field operations that contractors deal with every day.
Our Apps
Yes, we also build software. But this site stands on its own — the apps are separate products, and the content here isn't written to sell them.
| App | What It Does | Link |
|---|---|---|
| BLDR Pro | AI-powered form builder | bldr.pro |
| Safety Meetings | Safety management platform | safetymeetings.app |
| CRM.Construction | CRM with invoicing & client portal | crm.construction |
| BLDR Time | Union timesheets & certified payroll | bldrtime.com |
Our apps are designed to complement tools like Procore and QuickBooks — covering specialized areas (field data collection, certified payroll, safety compliance) that general-purpose platforms don't focus on. Learn more about our apps.
How We're Different
Education first. We give away valuable content because it builds trust. If you eventually need software, maybe you'll think of us. If not, that's fine too.
No gates. No email required to download templates. No popup asking for your info. Just use the stuff.
Practical over theoretical. We don't write "10 Tips for Better Safety." We write detailed procedures you can actually implement.
Honest about trade-offs. When we write about software, we cover the full landscape. No single platform does everything well — including ours.
Built for the field. Everything is designed for people who actually work on jobsites — not office workers managing from afar.
